JOYS OF SEPTEMBER

I been cleaning my garden to get ready for some planting this fall, it has been a never ending kind of job. Thanks to me, since I neglected it all summer long. Now I have unwanted grass all over my garden, some of my favorite perennials didn't survive, and wasps built nests all over the garden...
Well I don't know if I will be able to ever have my garden completely back...
But I most say that  all this work still doesn't stop me from enjoying the outside .
My garden still have a  beauty ,and somehow brings a sweet quietness to my heart

  • So lately here is what we been doing in the garden....

playing in the outside, she was  to help me  to water the garden...

...finding the most beautiful insects...

I never seen a lady bug like this one, it has a clear shell around it's head and body.
This dragonfly is so big and the colors so bright...

...and the most cute creatures...
This little rabbit loves to eat our unwanted grass
(Rabbit + veggie garden...sounds like a familiar story)

I was at GOODWILL one day ,and look what I found ,this glass cage, now is used to observer little creatures from our garden, we will keep this little tree frog for a day
Oh, and  enjoying the beautiful September sundown

So do you have plans for your fall garden ?

Just sharing...

Just about 2 weeks ago I was checking one of my favorites singer Fernando Ortega, this man have the most beautiful and inspirational music, mostly written by him. To my surprise he was having a concert here for free,I was so excited!!!
He is so gifted and he glorifies our Lord with all his beautiful songs...his music is very peaceful ,I usually play his CD for my child at night and I usually like to play it before I read my Bible.

Greek Alphabet Stamps

My husband have a super creative side to him , he came out with a very cool craft ,I was amaze at the results and was fun to make it too...
He  made out stamps out of the Greek alphabet(his crafts usually have something to do with Education---I should call those stamps the GEEK STAMPS) using  foam sheets.
1. He print the largest letters that could fit on the 2X3.5in.wood blocks (you can find those at a craft store).
2. After, he cut and glue the letters on the foam.
3.Then we cut the letters shapes with very small and sharp scissors
4. I use wood glue to  attach the letters to the wood blocks.(remember to glue the letters backwards).

5. the I use spools as handles

6. We also add the letters  to the back of the stamps ,so we would know the correct  position .

Here is what you can do with some of the small pieces

Now some extra fun with those stamps...we got t-shirts at Hobby Lobby and later we will be stamping those with some fun Greek stuff...
